Planning & Zoning

The Planning & Zoning Commission reviews proposed amendments to zoning ordinances, site plans and plat applications, and makes recommendations to the Council regarding the current and future development of the Elwood Town. We will be adding more information soon.

The Planning Commission meets on the 1st and the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Agenda items are due 2 weeks before each meeting. For more information contact: Karolina Munns [email protected].

Requirements for Placing Items on the Planning Commission Agenda:

Paperwork/Plats include any required application including applicable fees, along with any other required written documentation.  Any petition which does not include all required paperwork by the above outlined deadlines WILL NOT be placed on the Planning Commission agenda.

There is always the possibility that a planning meeting may be changed or cancelled.  If this happens, every attempt will be made to notify the public of that decision.
